EVERY DAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY
Sport Specific Training & Rehabilitation (SST) was founded in Orlando, Florida, in February of 1997. The original concept was to teach young athletes how to improve their performance. As we conducted camps and clinics throughout Central Florida, it became apparent to us that there was a need for a quality sports medicine component to compliment the programs we were already offering. This led to the opening of our first clinic in December of 1998.
Even as the challenges of healthcare continue to grow, SST has kept a customer service oriented, activity-based philosophy to how we approach the services we provide.
SST continues utilize a multi-disciplinary staff who are licensed or certified in numerous fields, including physical therapy, athletic training, exercise physiology & strength and conditioning. Our goal is teach you how to manage your injury and give you the tools so you can actively participate in facilitating your recovery.
Our mission is to present a positive, upbeat atmosphere where people want to come in order to rehabilitate injuries, improve abilities, or develop a healthy lifestyle. We will always employ a staff of energetic, certified professionals who care about the unique needs of each person that walks through our doors, and we will treat each individual with the courtesy and respect each person is entitled to.
We intend to be the champion in our industry by educating our clients and referral sources that we are their first choice for consistent, quality sports medicine and sports performance programs.
Our vision is “Building Champions by motivating our clients, inspiring each other, serving our community, and bringing glory to God in all that we do.”
